Who does what?

Multiple converging partnerships are hard at work behind the scenes of this cultural season:

Over 70 heritage promotion operators and stakeholders: owners and managers of public and private sites alike, local authorities, and heritage facilitators are pooling their efforts to put on this cultural season’s programme for everyone’s enjoyment.

The regional associations APJRC (Parks & Gardens Association in the Centre-Val de Loire Region) and APJPL (Parks & Gardens Association in the Pays de la Loire Region) are offering up their knowledge, know-how, ideas and member networks especially for the occasion.

Scientific stakeholders are supporting its implementation – members of the ad hoc scientific committee, academics working at the CESR and involved in the programme on "Heritage intelligence", speakers at the symposium "Land of Sciences", "Végépolys".

Local tourism promotion bodies (tourist information offices, tourism development agencies, regional tourist boards) for communication, press relations and social media.

The Regions and their departments – particularly those in charge of heritage and tourism.

The French Ministry of Culture and Communication and its regional directorate, through management of the "Jardin remarquable" label and coordination of the "Rendez-vous aux jardins" event.

Mission Val de Loire is coordinating and overseeing "Gardens in the Loire Valley 2017", especially by producing the generic communication tools, in liaison with all of the stakeholders and partners involved in the initiative.
